The Celtics have been on a downward trajectory for a while now losing their last 3 games. The loss at home against the Knicks was a painful one, especially from Jaylen Brown's point of view as he missed crucial free throws down the stretch which could have decided the game in Boston's favor. The offense also isn't clicking anymore, they've put up under 100 points in 2 of their last 3 games, we'll see if that changes against the Lakers tonight. LA is on a run of 3 wins in their last 4 games, highly encouraged by the return of Anthony Davis to the line-up after a long lay-off due to injury. Bettors have made a ton of money off of them lately as they've covered the spread in 10 of their last 14 games, on the road they've done it 4 times in their last 5 games. With the Celtics failing to cover in 5 games straight, I'm not prepared to back them to beat a Lakers squad that's 4-2 SU in their last 6 games. Take LeBron and co. to cover on the road.
