The Lakers are hoping for a potential slip up by the Warriors in hopes of finishing as the 6th seed, but they still need to do their part and beat the Utah Jazz. LA Lakers 1 – 10 Win Margin (+290)
I was actually pleasantly surprised by the Jazz last night as they beat the fully loaded Denver Nuggets in their final home game of the season. This team also hung with the Lakers in their meeting earlier this week, so I'm expecting them to bring that same energy tonight at crypto.com Arena as they try to ruin the Lakers plans one last time this season. The Jazz beat the Lakers already twice this year by double-digits, while the Lakers did win the meeting at Vivint Arena in OT on Tuesday night. The Lakers still need the win here to finish at least 7th in the standings, even the 5th seed isn't out of the question, but a few more results would have to go their way which isn't all that realistic. Still, I expect the Lakers to be fully locked in here and get the job done. But they've been able to win just twice this season by more than 17 points which is the spread here. With nothing to lose, the Jazz can play without any pressure here so let's hope they can keep t his one close until the very end.
