Over 229.5 total points (-110)

Even Miami Heat games haven't been immune to the huge increase in scoring happening in the NBA lately. Two of their last 3 games have seen 249 and 243 points scored, and against the high-paced Lakers we could very well be in for a similar scoreline tonight. Despite the teams combining for just 210 points a week ago, tonight's game has the potential to go in a slightly different direction. The Lakers are relying on their pace to win games. They've put up 121, 130 and 129 in their last 3 wins, not caring too much about the defensive side of things. A high-scoring game would favor the home team as the Lakers average 104.4 possessions per game which is 2nd only to the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James has scored 40+ points in back-to-back games, coming back home from a long road trip he will want to put on a show for the home fans as well. Miami's 3-point defense has been just awful this year, and over their last 3 games they've allowed an average of 15.3 threes a night, which is 3rd-worst in the NBA during that stretch. The Lakers should come out firing, which should result in at least 230 points combined between the teams.

Jimmy Butler to score 30+ points (+500)
