Memphis has been far more reliable than the Pelicans in the early going this season, despite being only 4-4 on the road. They are coming off a loss against Washington, in a game in which Ja Morant didn't play. It's a completely new team with him in the line-up, so I'm expecting him to get everyone involved here. Desmond Bane is going to miss tonight's game, but the Grizz are getting back Jaren Jackson Jr. who finally makes his season debut following a foot injury. His presence should patch up a few things defensively and make life hard for the Pelicans slashers such as Zion Williamson (if he plays) and C.J. McCollum. Memphis has the edge in head-to-head meetings winning 4 of the last 5, they are also 6-1 SU in their last 7 vs Southwest Division opponents.
