We head into the NBA weekend with a 6-game slate this Saturday, with the biggest game happening in LA between the Clippers and Mavericks. Fresh off their win over the Lakers, the Mavs will look to win the 3rd straight meeting between the two teams. Luka Doncic to score 40+ Points (+320)
No team in the NBA has suffered more when facing Luka Doncic than the LA Clippers have in recent years. Although Luka's scoring has been off a little bit lately with him shooting around 35% in 4 of his last 5 games, I feel like a breakout performance is coming Sunday. Just 2 weeks ago Doncic put up 44 points on an unreal 17-for-21 shooting against the Clippers, that was the 4th time in 6 meetings he went over 40 points. If we expand our search to the last 15 meetings, Doncic is putting up 37.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game. Those are video game type numbers and with the Clippers playing on a 2nd night of a back-to-back here, they could be in trouble once again. The Mavs just beat the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena, so there won't be any travel in between games for them which means they'll have the upper hand rest wise. I expect Luka to come out blazing hot in this one.
