Voters have given this award to the player with the most total points in the clutch in each season.
Last year, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry led the league with 198 points in the clutch to win this award over DeMar DeRozan, who finished with 182 points. No other player scored more than 139 points in the clutch a season ago.
In 2022-23, De'Aaron Fox was the first Clutch Player of the Year. He finished with 194 points in the clutch, besting DeRozan with 159 points.
