Philadelphia 76ers ML (-138)
The Celtics are the team that's caused Philadelphia the most issues, not only this season but also dating back to years prior. They've eliminated them from the 2020 and 2018 playoffs, and are on the verge of sweeping the regular season series coming into this game with a 3-0 lead. Why back the Sixers then? Well, the Celtics will most likely be shorthanded here as Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams III are both doubtful. As good as they can look on certain nights, this team is very vulnerable on certain nights, just last week we saw them lose by 19 points on the road in Washington. The 76ers still haven't secured the 3rd seed, a win here would definitely be a confidence booster after so many losses to this Celtics team. Then there's also the MVP case of Joel Embiid, beating a team like the Celtics at this crucial point of the season would certainly add up to his case. All in all, I do expect a close game, but in the end the 76ers just pull it out.
