The Sixers haven't had the best of times playing at American Airlines Center winning just twice in their last 16 visits. However, with the way the Mavs have been playing lately, this might be their best chance in a long time to squeak out a win there. In their last 6 games the Mavs have just 1 victory and that was against the West worst San Antonio Spurs. The pairing of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic is still fresh and they're figuring things out on the fly. Philly bounced back in a big way after that loss against Miami with a road win in South Beach by 23 points, despite not having Joel Embiid at their disposal. The big man is questionable to play tonight due to a foot injury, but after last night's performance I'm feeling good about Philly's chances here. Dallas is one of the most unreliable teams in the NBA when it comes to covering the spread with a 22-38-3 ATS record so far. Philly has had the edge in 3 of the last 4 meetings, until the Mavs figure things ou t I'm not trusting them. Take Philly to win outright as underdogs on the road.
