The Nashville Predators face the Toronto Maple Leafs with both teams looking to build off great seasons. The Predators have a 14-12 record and with three consecutive wins, they have leaped to the middle of the Central Division. The Maple Leafs have a 13-6-4 record and with seven wins in their last 10 games, they have leaped to the top of the Atlantic Division. Both teams look to leap to the top of their conferences and the upcoming game should be a great one.

The Predators are having a great season with their offense carrying them, scoring 3.23 goals per game with nine goals in the last two games. Filip Forsberg, Ryan O'Reilly, and Gustav Nyquist have scored 29 goals and 41 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has been great as well. Luke Evangelista, Colton Sissons, and Thomas Novak have scored 17 goals and 22 assists while defensemen Roman Josi and Tyson Barrie have added six goals and 24 assists from the point to open up the offense.

The offense has been great but the defense has struggled, allowing 3.12 goals per game. Roman Josi and Ryan McDonagh have combined for 2.4 defensive point shares but the rest of the unit has struggled, allowing opponents to find open shots on the net with ease. The bright spot has been the play of goaltender Juuse Saros who has a .904 save percentage and a 2.93 goals-against average on 59 2 shots with 0.2 goals saved above average.
