Adam Fox opened the scoring with his eighth goal of the season at 7:55 off assists from Alexis Lafreniere and Vincent Trocheck. In the second period, New York held a 12-6 shot advantage and tallied the lone goal of the stanza to lead 2-0 at the second intermission. Artemi Panarin made it a 2-0 game with his 29th goal of the year at 1:38 off assists from Fox and K’Andre Miller.
