N.Y. Islanders  vs. Winnipeg Jets Prediction, Preview, and Odds – 2-26-2023

The New York Islanders face the Winnipeg Jets with both teams looking to build off promising seasons. The Islanders have a 30-25-7 record and are in the middle of the Metropolitan Division. The Jets have a 35-23-1 record and are in second place in the Central Division but hope to bounce back from back-to-back losses. Both teams look to improve in their divisions and the playoff picture and the upcoming game looks to be a great one.

The Islanders are having a promising season despite their offense struggling, scoring only 2.89 goals per game with only four goals in the last two games. Brock Nelson, Anders Lee, and Zach Parise have scored 63 goals and 63 assists to lead the top two lines but the rest of the offense has struggled. Additionally, goaltender Ilya Sorokin is having a great season with a .924 save percentage and a 2.41 goals-against average o n 1368 shots 25.3 goals saved above average.
