Montreal was defeated by the Ottawa Senators 5-4 on January 31st and this will be their first game since the NHL All-Star Game break. Montreal is well out of playoff contention. Cal Clutterbuck and Oliver Wahlstrom are out for New York. Montreal is decimated by injuries that include Paul Byron, Cole Caulfield, Jonathan Drouin, Brendan Gallagher and many others.
