The Murray State Racers will travel to Carver Arena on Saturday afternoon in a Missouri Valley Conference matchup to take on the Bradley Braves. The Racers are a decent 13-12 (8-7) so far this season and are riding a two-game losing streak after coming off a 92-68 home loss on Tuesday against the Drake Bulldogs. The Braves are a dominant 18-8 (11-4) righ t now and are riding a five-game winning streak after coming off a 79-61 road win on Wednesday against the Illinois State Redbirds. These programs played back on Jan. 4 with the Racers picking up a 67-58 home win.

The Murray State Racers have been decent and are coming off a 92-68 home loss against the Drake Bulldogs. They struggled as they allowed 55 points in the first half of the game. They shot the ball at a lower level from the floor as they were 23-of-60 (38.3 percent) overall, 9-of-27 (33.3 percent) from three, and 18 free-throw attempts. Sophomore guard Brian Moore Jr led the team as in 37 minutes he finished with 17 points, two assists, and one steal. Defensively, they were brutal as they allowed 58.9 percent from the floor and 57.1 from deep here. The Racers did awful as they finished with just four steals and one block throughout the game after forcing seven turnovers. 

The Murray State Racers are a struggling team this season as they are 192nd in the nation with 70.8 p oints per game thus far and shooting 44.4 percent from the field while averaging 11.9 assists per game. Defensively, they are giving up 72.2 points per game, which is 258th in the country. They have to improve at forcing mistakes as they are averaging just 2.9 blocks and 5.2 steals per game.
