Mountain West Conference Tournament Prediction

San Diego State won another regular season conference title and the Aztecs only suffered three Mountain West losses. Boise State (63.7) and SDSU (64.4) were the league's top two scoring defenses and best in FG% defense along with Nevada, with all three teams allowing just 41-42% FG shooting. The Colorado State Rams were the strongest shooting team (49.3%) and best in assist/turnover ratio, but struggled on the defensive end.

The Mountain West Tournament is filled with intrigue and balance, as ESPN's Bracketology currently lists Nevada as a "Last Four In" and Utah State as a "First Four Out" with San Diego State (6) and Boise State (9) in the NCAA Tournament. All the rest will battle to win the conference tournament and the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. San Jose State is the most viable big longshot, and it's worth taking a chance on one of those outsiders to pull off the upset and win the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

Pick to Win: Utah State or UNLV
