The Montreal Canadians begin a three-game road trip. They just finished a three-game homestand with a 2-1-0 record. After a 5-2 loss to the New Jersey Devils, the Canadians have outlasted the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in overtime and the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 in a shootout.
Last Saturday, the Habs edged the Jets despite being outshot 45-29. Montreal erased a 3-1 deficit, and Jake Allen led the way with a staggering 42 saves. Justin Barron, Sean Monahan, and Joel Armia all found the back of the net, while Kaiden Guhle had a couple of assists.
