This will be an intriguing matchup because it will be new acquisition Bo Horvat's first game as an Islander, and his first game with a new 8-year contract. After making a move that big, it is clear New York has playoff aspirations so as the 6th overall team in the Metropolitan Division, they have lots of work to do.
Philadelphia is a weaker team than the Islanders as it is, so even in front of their home crowd the Flyers will have a hard time getting past a sturdy defensive structure. For that reason, backing an Islanders win will be the play.
