MLS Best Bets for Week 2
Plain and simple, Philadelphia looked the part of the most dominant team in Week 1, continuing off their MLS Cup appearance last season. Columbus scored an early goal in the first half to take the lead, and from that point on Philly absolutely took control and torched Columbus the rest of the game winning 4-1. Although Miami impressed me with their 2-0 win over a good Montreal team, I believe the story told more of Montreal's inability to defend than Miami's ability to score. Philly won this matchup last year 2-1 and haven't lost to Miami since early 2021.
