MLS Best Bets for Week 5
I went back and forth with this one because the Galaxy have been pretty boring to watch so far. Only scoring twice in 3 games, it doesn't leave a lot to be desired out of this road match with Portland. However, Portland has been awful their last 3 giving up 10 goals including five to Atlanta last week. It leads me to believe the Galaxy can at least muster one. Portland is notorious for being a much better home team than away, so I don't expect a blowout like last week again, but I do think given their recent form they won't magically figure it out and keep a clean sheet against a Galaxy team dying for some goals.
