Eight teams will play in a best-of-three Wild Card series, which is followed by a best-of-five Divisional Series with the 8 remaining teams, and the four winning teams will advance to their Conference Series in a best-of-seven series. After that is the World Series, and with such a balanced field this season, it could be anyone’s year.
