MLB Wednesday YRFI/NRFI best bets today 8/3

One of the shortest-lasting bets you can make in an MLB game is if a run will be scored in the first inning. All it takes is 6 outs to glory, but one swing of the bat can make or break your bet. There is also a lot of value in these bets because the odds are usually very well priced and if you're not a fan of sweating out your bets for 3 hours, this one will take only about 15 minutes to win or lose.

There are 2 YRFI/NRFI bets I like today, so let's get right into it.

Seattle Mariners vs New York Yankees: NRFI (-135)

Newcomer Luis Castillo will make his Mariners debut on Wednesday against the toughest offense in baseball. Castillo was linked to the Yankees in several trade rumors, but the Mariners surprised everyone by stealing the ace. Now, Castillo will face the New York lineup for the second time in the last three weeks. In his start against the Yankees on July 14, he allowed just 1 run on 2 hits in 7 innings while recording 8 strikeouts. He also did not allow a run in the first inning, and the new acquisition has not allowed a first inning run in 7 consecutive starts. I expect the top of the Yankees order to be D.J. LeMahieu, Aaron Judge, and Anthony Rizzo, and in their careers against Castillo, LeMahieu is 2-for-5 (.400) with 2 strikeouts, Judge is 1-for-4 (.250) with a strikeout, and Rizzo is 6-for-29 (.207) with 7 strikeouts.
