MLB Tigers vs Blue Jays same game parlay (+300)

There's no denying that the Blue Jays haven't always dominated games they should. They've been upset by teams depleted due to vaccination restrictions up in Canada. However, they were also recently on a 7-game winning streak. That put them in a solid position for an AL wildcard spot. The same cannot be said for the Tigers. They're simply battling to stay out of last place in the weak AL Central. With the trade deadline looming, this may be 1 of their last games with their current roster construction. Along with this same game parlay, be sure to check out our thoughts on the side and total for all of today's games.

Blue Jays -1.5 (-175)

There have been times where the massive underdog has value against the Blue Jays this season. However, this is not 1 of those situations. There's several reasons as to why, beginning with their ace Alek Manoah starting this game. Although he didn't get the start in the all-star game, he greatly outperformed the Rays Shane McClanahan. Manoah struck out the side in his inning on the mound, all while being mic-ed up and talking to the broadcast crew. There won't be any distractions this time around as he takes on the league's lowest scoring lineup.

While the Tigers haven't been quite as bad since the start of the year, they still don't have nearly as many strong bats as the Jays. As if George Springer being the 1st batter faced isn’t scary enough, the power of Vladimir Guerrero Jr. behind him is arguably even worse. That duo alone should have Detroit's Bryan Garcia in for a long night. That's likely an unfamiliar name, as he's making his 1st appearance of the season tonight. He's also a reliever, which makes this matchup even more beneficial for Toronto. With all-star starter Alejandro Kirk rounding out the top 3 hitters, Garcia is not put in a great position to succeed for his 2022 debut.
