MLB Rookie of the Year 2022 Odds and Frontrunners

Being named Rookie of the Year is not a sign of future success, but over the years, many players who have captured ROY honors have become MLB megastars.

Many of the game's biggest current names can count Rookie of the Year among their list of achievements and awards, including reigning AL MVP Shohei Ohtani, two-time NL MVP Bryce Harper, two-time NL Cy Young Award winner Jacob deGrom, and two-time MLB Home Run Derby winner Pete Alonso.

Will this year's winners go on to reach such heights? That remains to be seen, but halfway through the season, a few candidates in each league have separated themselves from the rest of the field as favorites.
