Kansas City Royals veteran Michael Wacha has pitched better in 2024 than his 5.15 ERA indicates, but that's not due to an increase in strikeouts. The right-hander is punching out just 7.63 batters per nine innings following a 2023 campaign with the San Diego Padres in which he managed 8.31 per nine.
