For this parlay I am going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let's break down each of the 3 legs.'

Baltimore Orioles -1.5 over San Francisco Giants (+130)'

Despite losing 10-0 on Tuesday, you can't quite stick a fork in Baltimore's AL East hopes. The Orioles will still be playing inspired baseball and the result should be a bounce-back win on Wednesday. Dean Kremer is toeing the rubber, which has to be considered good news for the home team at this point. Through 2 September starts he boasts a 0.69 ERA (1 earned run allowed in 13.0 innings). It's true that Baltimore's bats are cool at the moment, but this potent lineup can only be held in check for so long. You have to think Kremer will get some run support – even though he probably doesn't require much of it. San Francisco's Hayden Birdsong is 3-5 with a 4.74 ERA and 1.42 WHIP. Give me the Birds.'

Atlanta Braves -1.5 over Cincinnati Reds (+112)'

Atlanta dropped another game to New York in the National League wild-card race on Tuesday and really can't afford any other hiccups. The Braves should be able to end a 3-game skid when they visit the Reds again on Wednesday. Spencer Schwellenbach is taking the mound and he is sporting a 3.73 ERA with 113 strikeouts and just 20 walks through 103.2 innings since being unexpectedly inserted into Atlanta's rotation. The right-hander most recently fired 6.0 innings of 2-run baseball against the high-powered Dodgers last Friday. Cincinnati is countering with Jakob Junis, which more or less amounts to a bullpen day. That's far from ideal given that the Reds just used 6 relief arms for 7.2 innings of work during their 6-5 come-from-behind victory in the series opener. Look for the Braves to get revenge in a big way.'
