Arizona Diamondbacks vs Atlanta Braves Over 9 (-105)
Brandon Pfaadt was outstanding during the Diamondbacks’ playoff run in 2023, correcting his early season woes and delivering a very promising rookie campaign. However, it's hard to have much confidence in any pitcher when he has to face Atlanta. The Braves' bats woke up late in the series opener on Friday night, bashing their way to a 6-5 victory in 10 innings.'Their'offense was historic last season and more of the same can be expected this time around. Atlanta is countering with Max Fried, who struggled against Philadelphia in his 2024 debut. Arizona's lineup was already potent last year and now it is even better. Even though this is a nice pitching matchup, expect plenty of runs.
