Boston's Cooper Criswell is assigned with trying to keep New York's potent lineup in check today, but it will probably be a futile effort. Criswell just recently joined the starting rotation and has been on a limited pitching count. He has not thrown more than 80 pitches since mid-July. That is especially bad news for the Red Sox since they are saddled with one of the worst bullpens in Major League Baseball. Even though Nestor Cortes is nothing special for the Yankees, they should be able to bash their way to a big win.
