Highlights of the schedule include Reds vs Cardinals, Red Sox vs Yankees and Rays vs Guardians, with the latter 2 airing live on FOX at 7:15 pm ET. For this MLB parlay, I am going with 2 favorites on the run line and 1 underdog on the money line. Let's break down each of the 3 legs.'
New York Yankees -1.5 over Boston Red Sox (+112)'
The Red Sox have faded out of the playoff race while the Yankees are battling for the American League East title and perhaps even the top seed in the postseason. Boston's Cooper Criswell is assigned with trying to keep New York's potent lineup in check today, but it will probably be a futile effort. Criswell just recently joined the starting rotation and has been on a limited pitching count. He has not thrown more than 80 pitches since mid-July. That is especially bad news for the Red Sox since they are saddled with one of the worst bullpens in Major League Baseball. Even though Nestor Cortes is nothing special for the Yankees, they should be able to bash their way to a big win.
