The Texas Rangers attempt to complete their second straight series sweep and extend their winning streak to six games when they visit the American League West-rival Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday for the finale of their three-game set. Texas (44-48) has followed three straight home wins against Tampa Bay with back-to-back triumphs over Los Angeles and has climbed within 5 1/2 games of first-place Seattle in the division. The Angels (37-54) have lost three straight c ontests and eight of their last nine. Wednesday's first pitch is set for 9:38 p.m. ET.
