We are beginning another week in Major League Baseball with a 14-game slate on Monday. We have one businessman's special, as the Guardians and Tigers are contesting a double-header so the first game is set for 3:10 pm ET. The rest of the schedule will be played at night, headlined by a showdown between the Astros and White Sox at 8:10 pm ET on FS1. Meanwhile, another crucial series in the National League East pits the Mets against the Braves.
I cashed last week's Monday mega parlay at +937 odds, so let's get another week started on the right foot!
For this parlay we are going with two favorites on the run line and one underdog on the money line. Let's break down each of the three legs one by one.
Twins -1.5 over Royals (+100)
After facing the league-best Dodgers this past weekend weekend, the Royals – who at least managed to take one of three – certainly wish this was an off day. That is often the case for teams on Mondays, but it isn't today. Kansas City now heads to Minnesota to face the Twins, who are battling for the AL Central title. Starting for the home team is Joe Ryan, who is the subject of our favorite MLB prop bet of the day. Ryan has already defeated K.C. twice this recent, most recently in a dominant 9-2 Minnesota victory. The right-hander is 8-5 with a 3.95 ERA in 2022. Kris Bubic is toeing the rubber for the Royals, who lost five of his six starts during the month of July.
