As usual it's a relatively small Major League Baseball slate on a Thursday, with many teams in between series. Still, there is more than enough to work with as 14 ballclubs take the field. The slate includes an afternoon battle between American League East rivals Boston and Tampa Bay, while Milwaukee and San Diego are wrapping things up with a 9:40 pm ET start time.
