Philadelphia Phillies vs. Patrick Corbin (6.08 ERA), Washington Nationals

Happy Patrick Corbin day! Every start for our guy Patrick has pretty much been tracked on these articles throughout the entire season, because he has been a total disaster in 2022. The Phillies are just trying to hang on to a playoff spot, but with a series against the Astros coming up, they absolutely NEED to win these games against a far inferior opponent like Washington. Especially if the Nationals are going to throw you a bone in the shape of Corbin.

Corbin had his last turn through the rotation skipped after he exited his start against Atlanta with an injury, but he'll rejoin the rotation for his final start of 2022. He has a 3.20 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 11:1 K-to-BB across 19.2 innings through three starts in September, so he has been at least serviceable for a stretch here.
