The Missouri Tigers (2-4) take on a familiar opponent when they host the Vanderbilt Commodores (3-4) on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium in an SEC clash.

The Tigers enter the matchup after losing 24-17 to the Florida Gators in their last outing on October 8. The Commodores’ last game was a 55-0 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs. Against the Gators, Brady Cook led the Tigers with 220 yards on 22-of-30 passing (73.3%) for no touchdowns and two interceptions. Nathaniel Peat took 20 carries for 117 yards (5.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown, while adding one reception for eight yards in the passing game. Mookie Cooper had 58 yards on four catches (14.5 per reception) in that game. AJ Swann recorded 105 passing yards while going 12-for-23 with no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Dores against the Bulldogs. Re’Mahn Davis put together a 12-carry, 29-yard game (2.4 yards per attempt), while also adding two receptions for 20 yards . Will Sheppard caught three passes for 45 yards (15.0 yards per catch).

The Commodores are two-touchdown underdogs against the Tigers (the game’s total is 53 points).
