The Missouri Tigers (2-3, 3-2 ATS, 1-4 O/U) battle the Florida Gators (3-2, 3-2 ATS, 3-2 O/U) in SEC action on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers almost recorded a stunning upset in a narrow home loss to #1 Georgia. The Gators were able to shell Eastern Washington in their previous bout. Missouri collected a 24-23 home win in the meeting against Florida last season. 

The Missouri Tigers are searching for that elusive first SEC win of the season. They nearly beat Auburn in the conference opener, losing 17-14 in overtime. Last week, they were tabbed mammoth 31-point dogs in a narrow 26-22 home loss to #1 Georgia. The Tigers' victories occurred vs. LA Tech of the C-USA and Abilene Christian of the FCS. Missouri has covered the points in each of its two SEC games.

Brady Cook accrued 192 passing yards against Georgia. The sophomore QB isn’t logging big numbers on an offense that will run frequently. He has 997 passing yards and a 5:4 TD to INT ratio. The rushing offense is stellar. They feature a few strong running backs. Cody Schrader was able to collect 89 rushing yards against a strong Georgia defense and has registered 261 rushing yards on a stellar average of 5.7 yards per carry. He should thrive against a w eak Florida rush defense.

Dominic Lovett is in a groove, bringing in at least 80 yards in three straight games. The sophomore WR now has 460 receiving yards. The Missouri offense has scored 22 or fewer points in three out of their last four clashes.

The Tigers' defense is definitely their top strength. While they squandered 481 total yards last week, they held the Georgia passing offense to a 55% completion efficiency. The pass defense is currently ranked 57th while the rush defense is 46th. Missouri is scoring an average of 26.8 points, landing them 89th. The defense is conceding an average of 24.8 points, placing them 66th.
