Missouri at Arkansas – 1/4/23 College Basketball Picks and Prediction

The Missouri Tigers will cross the state line and face the Arkansas Razorbacks in SEC play from the Bud Walton Arena on the SEC Network. Arkansas and Mizzou have met 30 times, with the Hogs holding a 20-10 series lead after winning the last four meetings.

Missouri jumped to 12-1 after defeating Kentucky at home. The Tigers have responded to their Border Showdown to Kansas with authority, beating Illinois by 22 at home, before taking down the Wildcats by 14 last week. Mizzou is scoring 92.6 points per game, while allowing ppg, and shooting 51.2% from the floor.

There’s been no shortage of offense here for Mizzou in 2022, and five Tigers average double figures. Cleveland State transfer D’Moi Hodge scored 20 points in the win over Illinois, and he leads the Tigers in scoring (16.5). Kobe Brown took matters into his own hands in the last two games, dropping 31 points in the win over Illinois, and scoring 30 versus Kentucky last time out. Brown averages 15.6 ppg, and a team-lead 5.7 rpg. Former Milwaukee guard Deandre Gholston has reached double figures in each of the last four games.
