The ACC/SEC Challenge continues on Tuesday with a matchup between the #25 Mississippi State Bulldogs (6-0, 5-1 ATS) and the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-2, 1-3 ATS). Mississippi State is coming off a home win over Nicholls 74-61, but did not cover the spread as 23.5-point favorites. Georgia Tech just went on the road and got clobbered by Cincinnati 89-54, losing as 9.5-point favorites. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are off to a hot start this season, and just cracked the AP Top 25 with an undefeated record. The Bulldogs have covered five out of six spreads, only missing the cover in their recent game against Nicholls as 23.5-point favorites. Miss State won the Basketball Hall of Fame Tipoff Tournament in Connecticut with wins over Washington State and Northwestern. In their last game, they were led by freshman Josh Hubbard with 15 points off the bench in the win over Nicholls.

Hubbard leads the team with 16.2 PPG as a 5'10 freshman guard. He has been coming off the bench, and is only 5th on the team in minutes played at 21.2 per game. Hubbard leads the team in threes with 16 on the season, and had his season high against Northwestern with 29. Jimmy Bell Jr. is a 6'10 transfer from West Virginia, he is averaging 10.0 PPG and 9.5 RPG inside for the Bulldogs. Bell Jr. is com ing off a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards against Nicholls. Cameron Matthews is a 6'7 forward for the Bulldogs, he was a starter for them last season and adds 9.2 PPG this year. Dashawn Davis is a 6'2 guard who leads the team in assists with 3.2 per game and adds 8.5 PPG.
