The Golden Gophers are coming off a 26-14 loss to Illinois as 4.5-point favorites. The Nittany Lions are coming off a 41-17 loss to Michigan as seven-point underdogs.

The Golden Gophers followed up their four-game winning streak by losing their last two games. They will try to put an end to their streak with a win over the Ninnaty Lions, which will give them their fifth win in their last seven games.

Tanner Morgan completed 33 percent of his passes for 21 yards and one interception before getting injured. He is listed as questionable for this game. Athan Kaliakmanis completed 33 percent of his passes for 17 yards and two interceptions in relief of Morgan. Mohamed Ibrahim had 15 carries for 127 yards and one touchdown, while Brevyn Spann-Ford had four catches for 32 yards.

The Golden Gophers are very thin at the quarterback position because backup quarterbacks Samuel Pickerign and Cole Kramer are questio nable for this game.
