The Vikings have won nine of their 13 games against Washington since 1993, but the home team has won five of the last six matchups between these teams.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins is facing his former Washington teammates for the first time since leaving the team for Minnesota at the end of the 2017 season. Cousins has been a consistent passer, throwing at least one touchdown in 38 straight games. He threw a pair of touchdown passes against Arizona last week, marking the fourth time this season he has thrown for multiple scores. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson has emerged as his favorite target, but KJ Osborn and Johnny Mundt each caught touchdown passes last week. The Vikings have seven rushing touchdowns in their last three games and now rank third in the league with 10 rushing touchdowns. They are facing a Washington defense that is No. 13, allowing 334.4 yards per game.
