Minnesota Vikings at New York Giants odds, picks and predictions

The Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants open their seasons at MetLife Stadium Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET (FOX). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s'lines around the Vikings vs. Giants odds, and'make our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Vikes were dealt a tough blow when first-round QB J.J. McCarthy went down for the season with a knee injury. They turn to veteran QB Sam Darnold to get the ball to WRs Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. They brought RB Aaron Jones aboard from the Green Bay Packers, and he’ll pair with RB Ty Chandler in what could be an exciting duo in the backfield. The Vikings went 7-10 straight up and 7-7-3 ATS last season.

The G-Men welcome back QB Daniel Jones from injury and added RB Devin Singletary and first-round pick WR Malik Nabers in the offseason. So there isn’t a lot of continuity on offense, and it could take some time to gel. They went 6-11 straight up and 8-8-1 ATS last season.
