Minnesota Timberwolves at Cleveland Cavaliers – 11/13/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Sunday night.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been in a real slump as they’ve lost six of their past seven games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after falling short to the Grizzlies in a 114-103 road loss on Friday. Anthony Edwards led the team with 28 points and six assists, Jaden McDaniels and Rudy Gobert each scored 15 points while Karl-Anthony Towns chipped in with 13 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 46 percent from the field and 10 of 30 from the 3-point line, but they were terrible on the defensive end and were always a step behind after allowing the Grizzlies to explode for 72 points in the first half. D’Angelo Russell had a night to forget as he scored just four points on two of eight shooting while Jaylen Nowell scored just two points on one of seven shooting off the bench.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers have really cooled off from their quick start and they are now on a three-game losing streak after falling to the Warriors in a 106-101 road loss on Friday. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, Evan Mobley added 20 points, 13 rebounds and four assists while Darius Garland chipped in with 15 points and eight assists. As a team, the Cavaliers shot just 40 percent from the field and eight of 30 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Warriors in a tight contest, until the fourth quarter where the Warriors went on a decisive 9-1 run to pull away and steal the game late. Garland had a poor night as he shot just five of 19 from the field while Kevin Love scored just nine points on three of 10 shooting.
