The Milwaukee Bucks (9-4; 4-8-1 ATS) and Washington Wizards (2-10; 5-7-0 ATS) may share an In-Season Tournament group, but this game won't apply to that. Instead, Monday's meeting in Capital One Arena will simply count toward the regular season standings. This battle is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. EDT. This will be the first meeting of the season, with Friday night's clash toward the In-Season Tournament. Who will win the warm-up round?

Make that four in a row for Milwaukee after beating Dallas on Saturday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard combing for 67 points is the main takeaway for most people, especially with Khris Middleton (probable for this game) out. Of course, offense was never the issue in Milwaukee's slow start. They're seventh in offensive rating thanks to the NBA's best true shooting percentage. Whether it's at the rim, from a midrange area, or behind the arc, the Bucks are a top-five team in efficiency. Putting the ball in the hoop is the core tenet of basketball, and Milwaukee has mastered it. The NBA's third-highest free throw rate and a modest turnover percentage help their cause too. The Bucks may be one of the league's worst offensive-rebounding teams, but they don't need that to succeed.

The defensive end has been where the Bucks get in trouble this season. Allowing Dal las (who has a strong offense) to score 125 points on 49.5% shooting didn't do anything to quell concerns. The Bucks have struggled with forcing turnovers and grabbing defensive rebounds. Meanwhile, they allow the second-lowest percentage of shots to come at the rim and have a top-10 three-point defense. Milwaukee also avoids sending opponents to the charity stripe often. It appears that hustle stats, such as steals and rebounds, are holding the team back. The good news is that those are fixable areas.
