Milwaukee won their second straight game as they obliterated San Antonio at home, covering the largest point spread in the league this season in the process. The Bucks entered Thursday with a 52-20 mark and held a seven-game lead on Cleveland in the Central Division standings. They held a 2.5-game advantage over Boston for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Against San Antonio, Milwaukee led by as many as 13 in the opening quarter only to see their lead trimmed to five at intermission. The Bucks led by just three with 3:21 to play in the first half before closing on a 17-5 run to take a 15-point advantage at intermission. Milwaukee didn’t let San Antonio closer than 13 in the second half while leading by as many as 36 en route to the win. The Bucks shot 52% from the field, including 15 of 43 from three-point range, and forced 19 turnovers in the victory. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 31 points and 14 rebounds in the vic tory.
