Two days after narrowly beating Detroit 110-108 as 13.5-point favorites, the Bucks covered an 11.5-point spread, winning all four quarters against the lowly Pistons. Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a 32-point, 12-rebound double-double to go with four assists, five steals, and a couple of blocks, while Jrue Holiday had 26 points and a plus-25 net rating in 30 minutes on the floor.
“I’m happy that the team is winning, but that’s like second,” Antetokounmpo said after Wednesday’s win. “I’m happy that the team is building good habits. I’m happy that we can be good even if we d on’t make shots, that it doesn’t affect us. We still play hard; we still move the ball. Guys are not talking by themselves; we talk to one another. We are in a very good place.”
