Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors – 1/4/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Toronto Raptors play host to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in a bit of a rut lately as they’ve lost five of their last seven games, but they will be eager to build some momentum in this one after blowing past the Wizards in a 123-113 home win last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 55 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists on 20 of 33 shooting, Brook Lopez added 21 points with 12 rebounds and six blocks while Bobby Portis chipped in with 17 points, 13 rebounds and four assists off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 48 percent from the field and 11 of 40 from the 3-point line as they restricted the Wizards to just 21 points in the second quarter to take a 12-point lead into halftime, before going on another 10-2 run in the fourth quarter to finish the job.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors have been in a real slump as they’ve lost nine of their last 12 games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back here after getting stopped by the Pacers in a 122-114 road loss on Monday. Gary Trent Jr. led the team with 32 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Pascal Siakam added 26 points with seven rebounds and seven assists while Scottie Barnes tallied 23 points with eight rebounds and eight assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 45 percent from the field and 14 of 42 from the 3-point line as they poured in 33 points in the third quarter to erase a nine-point halftime deficit, only to fade in the fourth quarter where they allowed 31 points to see the Pacers slip away in the end.
