Milwaukee Bucks at Miami Heat – 1/14/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat duke it out once again at the FTX Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last eight games overall, but they will be hoping to bounce back in this one after getting stopped in their tracks by the Heat in a 108-102 road loss on Thursday. Jrue Holiday led the team with 24 points and 11 assists, Jevon Carter added 18 points, Jordan Nwora added 16 points while AJ Green chipped in with 15 points. As a team, the Bucks shot just 40 percent from the field and 22 of 57 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in full control when they held the Heat to just 14 points in the first quarter to take the early lead, but they started to miss their open looks which allowed the Heat to claw their way back and eventually escape with the narrow win. Brook Lopez had a night to forget as he finished with just six points on two of 12 shooting.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last 10 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Bucks on Thursday. Gabe Vincent led the team with 28 points and six assists, Bam Adebayo added 24 points with 12 rebounds while Jimmy Butler chipped in with 17 points and 11 rebounds. As a team, the Heat shot 44 percent from the field and nine of 34 from the 3-point line as they suffered a slow start and scored just 14 points in the first quarter to fall behind by 15 points early, but they worked their way back into the contest and opened the fourth quarter with a pivotal 7-0 run to pull away and earn the gritty win in the end.
