Milwaukee Bucks at Miami Heat – 1/12/23 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat duke it out at the FTX Arena on Thursday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in fine form as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after beating the Hawks in a 114-105 road win last night. Jrue Holiday led the way with 27 points and five assists, Brook Lopez added 20 points with 12 rebounds and two blocks while Bobby Portis chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. As a team, the Bucks shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 48 from the 3-point line as they squandered an early 24-point lead, before going on a decisive 8-0 run in the fourth quarter to pull away and avoid an embarrassing loss in the end.

Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming to stay hot after sneaking past the Thunder in a thrilling 112-111 home win on Tuesday. Jimmy Butler led the team with 35 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocks, Max Strus added 22 points while Victor Oladipo chipped in with a crucial 19 points off the bench. As a team, the Heat shot just 39 percent from the field and 10 of 33 from the 3-point line as they poured in 63 points in the first half to build a nine-point lead, but after the Thunder rallied all the way back to take the lead, the Heat went to Butler who drained the game-winning free throw to carry the Heat over the line in a tight finish.
