Milwaukee Bucks at Brooklyn Nets – 12/23/22 NBA Picks and Prediction

The Brooklyn Nets play host to the Milwaukee Bucks at the Barclays Center on Friday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won 10 of their last 14 games overall, but they will be eager to bounce back here after falling short to the Cavaliers in a 114-106 road loss on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 45 points, 14 rebounds and four assists on 17 of 27 shooting, Brook Lopez added 14 points while Marjon Beauchamp chipped in with 11 points, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Bucks shot 47 percent from the field and 13 of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to match the intensity of the Cavaliers from the tipoff and quickly found themselves trailing by 24 points, before seeing their rally in the second half come up short as they couldn’t get closer than five points.

Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been in red-hot form as they’ve won 11 of their last 12 games overall and they will be aiming for an eighth straight victory after routing the Warriors in a 143-113 home win on Wednesday. Kevin Durant led the way with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Edmond Sumner added 16 points off the bench while Royce O’Neale chipped in with 14 points on five of seven shooting. As a team, the Nets shot a sizzling 64 percent from the field and 21 of 33 from the 3-point line as they made a statement and dominated the first quarter by 46-17, before pouring in another 45 points in the second quarter to put the game to bed early. No starter played more than 29 minutes with the game locked up before halftime.
