The Atlanta Hawks play host to the Milwaukee Bucks at the State Farm Arena on Monday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be looking to stay undefeated and earn a 10th straight victory after taking down the Thunder in a dominant 108-94 win on Saturday. Brook Lopez led the way with 25 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Grayson Allen added 19 points on six of eight shooting off the bench while Jevon Carter chipped in with 18 points. As a team, the Bucks shot just 42 percent from the field and 17 of 47 from the 3-point line as they took control of the game with a dominant 33-19 second quarter which allowed them to cruise in the second half despite going cold in the fourth quarter.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their first nine games overall and they will be gunning for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Pelicans in a 124-121 overtime win on Saturday. Trae Young led the way with 34 points and 10 assists, Dejounte Murray racked up a triple-double of 22 points with 10 rebounds and 11 assists while Clint Capela chipped in with 21 points, 19 rebounds and four blocks. As a team, the Hawks shot 45 percent from the field and nine of 36 from the 3-point line as they squandered a 13-point lead in regulation, before they made up for it in overtime where they opened with a pivotal 8-2 run to escape with the narrow win.
