The Milwaukee Bucks and the Atlanta Hawks collide at the State Farm Arena on Wednesday night.
The Milwaukee Bucks have been in pretty good shape as they’ve won four of their past six games overall and they will be aiming to stay hot after sneaking past the Knicks in a 111-107 road win on Monday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Joe Ingles and Brook Lopez each scored 17 points while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 15 points and nine assists. As a team, the Bucks shot just 43 percent from the field and 19 of 49 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense in the first half and fell behind by as many as 17 points, before they exploded for 38 points in the fourth quarter to cap off one of their best comebacks of the season.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks have been in a rut as they’ve lost five of their last seven games, but they will be looking to build some momentum after outlasting the Clippers in a 112-108 road win on Sunday. Trae Young led the way with 30 points and eight assists on nine of 17 shooting, DeAndre Hunter added 20 points on eight of 13 shooting while Dejounte Murray chipped in with 16 points with five rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Hawks shot 49 percent from the field and eight of 26 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble after surrendering a 17-point lead to trail by 11 points, but they stayed focused and finished strong to escape with the much-needed win in the end.
