The Milwaukee Brewers (84-65, 73-76 RL, 67-77-5 O/U) take on the St. Louis Cardinals (66-83, 71-78 RL, 71-72-6 O/U) in a divisional bout on Tuesday evening. The Brewers will have Adrian Houser on the mound. The Cardinals will counter with Drew Rom. The season series is even at 3-3.

The Brewers will give Adrian Houser the nod on Tuesday evening. Houser was solid in his latest effort, holding the Marlins to only two runs in five innings and collected the win. The veteran righty has been shaky recently. He posted a poor 5.01 ERA last month and has registered a 4.53 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP accompanied by a 6-4 record in 95.1 innings on the year. Houser has yet to pitch against the Cardinals this month and has a 3.19 ERA and a 4-5 record in 59.1 career innings against the rivals.

Milwaukee is in great shape atop the NL Central, standing a comfortable 6.5 games ahead of the Cubs entering Monday night. The Brewers continue to shine, winning three consecutive series including a series victory against the Marlins and two wins in three meetings against the Nationals on the weekend. The squad is 7-3 in their last ten games.
