CFP National Championship Preview: Michigan vs. Washington
I’m not sure what the odds would’ve been at the beginning of the season to bet a championship matchup of Michigan vs Washington, but if you managed to bet that I’d imagine you’re quite a few units richer this week. Washington was a team that TSI wasn’t particularly high on in the preseason, relative to where the hype train seemed to be (rightfully) heading. On the other hand, TSI has been high on Michigan pretty much all year, including projecting them -6.5 vs Ohio State (won by 6) and -8.5 vs Alabama (won by 7). Styles make fights and this is certainly a contrast in styles, but my gut tells me Michigan is more equipped to handle this stylistic asymmetry due to its familiarity and success stopping Ohio State the last three years, which plays a similar style to what Washington wants to do.
