The Spartans are 43rd overall according to KenPom. They are 39th in adjusted defensive efficiency, 62nd offensively and have faced the 17th-rated strength of schedule. The Spartans average 70.4 ppg which is 10th in the Big Ten. They are also 10th shooting 44.2% from the field, and fifth making 37.1% from three and with a +4.6 rebound margin. Tyson Walker, a 6'1 senior, leads the team with 13.9 ppg, followed by 6'9 senior Joey Hauser with 13.3 ppg and a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game.
